MD321H or MD321T and Inlet.

Well after my recent Thread and discussing option with Andrew Carr and CAMS Performance I have decided to look for a MD321H, or a T at a push.

So if you have the said turbo drop me a pm please.

I will consider other options if suited to a 2.0 AVCS:thumb:.

However the RCM450, MD555, and GT30 have gone out of the window as they are better suited to a 2.5.

Thanks,
Rob

Cheers Buddy,

Its definitely a "H" I want, but a few guys I know are after the "T" now, one of which has a "H" now, so the search continues for both :)

What size inlet is it buddy, and is it a silicon one for a newage?

Rob

drewtts 15 April 2012 12:59 PM

It's a 76mm silicone joiner at the turbo ally hard pipe under the manifold Same as this but for bug/ newage

So it tapers into a standard inlet size (56/58mm) for standard fit turbo ?

I believe that MD321H turbos are standard inlet.

Won't the T be to laggy for the 2.0? Any way am going to be changing to the mdx321v later this year so will have my mdx321t for sale........1000 miles upto now and a engine rebuild in the next few months rob.......will run the build in on the T then look to upgrade if it's not to close to the winter that is.......

Yes a little Laggy, but with the right headers, up pipe, intercooler and 20% meth im sure spool will be reduced to make it drivable.

Ideally a H is on the cards, but I wont say no to a right priced T :D

Im happy with what I have, but Ive been at this power level before, and I got bored then, so I may aswell start looking now rather than moaning about it :lol1:

Also going to look for a decent clutch too...

Hasn't Jura a mdx321t for sale now off the 2.1 stroker build? It's top dollar at 1300 tho, I'd be asking around the same price tbh

chrispy200+ 30 June 2012 08:04 PM

Is the 76mm inlet still for sale Drew?

That's all I'd need is the drop down then I can run a solid pipe through, have you got a link?

Seen it, but im not paying that money when you can get something better suited for less, I mean what are my options?

MD321H
MD321T
SC42
SC46

Probably a few more?

I believe a H is rated to 400bhp, but with meth they make around 450bhp with early spool that my current?!?!?

In my case of a 2.0 with AVCS and supporting mods I can probably get away with a T but will no doubt need 20% meth to get it to operate without unacceptable lag :wonder:

Either way there is the need for more, so I'll keep searching. I may even look for a built motor for 2013 as funds permit :D

chrispy200+ 01 July 2012 12:15 AM

I have just looked your right the prices on the coupler have doubled since ordered mine which was about 8 wks ago? The full hard pipe kit is the same price tho? All I can say is try to price getting 1 of them into the country cheaper than that, I looked into it and it was going to cost over a £100, so at £60 it's still cheap but alot of money for wot it is, looks like I grabbed a bargain at £26 ;0)
