boost gauge vacum feed?

do you get an accurate reading from the recirc vacum pipe?

or is it best to go elsewhere?

thanks

When I fitted my boost gauge I was advised to use the spare blocked pipe on the block. It has a little rubber grommet over it.

It depends which model year car you have :Suspiciou.Model year 99/00 its easy as there is a spare nipple on your inlet manifold next to the pipe for your recirc valve, earlier cars never had this ,and often they inserted a T piece between the wastegate actuator.

Ive used the same nipple on the inlet. Is it right that when i start the engine the boost gauge reads approx minus 0.7 bar?? Im new to the turbo cars as you can tell

Cheers matey. I originally had the vacum feed into the actuator pipe. I used it for bout 1/2 hour and now it dosent feel like its running on boost. What could be the issue mate

Boost leak/vacuum leak? Check for leaks.
