is then engine aready out if so the bearing will be loose on the gearbox shaft, when its sat in place properly the clutch folk holds it in place, and the large pin at the left hand side of the gearbox holds everything secure hope this helps wiggy1

cheers mate it gives the the answer i needed, after atempting to take the engine out with a little force after not realising that the clutch realse pin needed to be out i was worried the clutch bearing might of gotten damaged (witch i will add soon as the pin was out the eninge pritty much fell out) but once the bearing is pushed back its stable its just when gently pulled towards me it goes all lose, so chances are i am very lucky and gotten it out with out any damage to the bearing.

kind regards
