Ok mate, thanks, Mattybr5 has offered a proven working set for sale, will see how much he wants for them i think. Ideally would like a set that has been proven to work recently and not left hanging around (no offence intended) as i can then rule that out if the problem persists.

Just had a thought, might my Simtek have flagged the missfire up? Engine check light hasn't illuminated so maybe not!

Good job the car is just a weekend toy otherwise it would be getting on my tits right now!
