2005 steering wheel fit to 1998 impreza wiring etc
 

Hi i want to fit 3 spoke steering wheel from 2005 imp to my 1998 with momo steering wheel, can any one help with wiring and can i just reset the air bag light with the no 1 wire to earth way? thanks

I had a nightmare putting an 03 Sti wheel onto my bugeye and had the airbag light on,in the end I swap the airbag charge from my wrx wheel to the Sti one and kept the origanal clockspring and it works perfectly.

Hi Martin the air bag connection is different than the early type, what did you use to connect the air bag, how did you switch off air bag light?

Late airbags arent suitable for early cars (New Age on Classic). The fact that lots of people have them fitted doesnt alter this - their properties are different and physically fitted with the light off doesnt mean working properly, or any use if you need it.
