can some one please explain how the hell the ref can give ashley a yellow card for nearly breaking little "p"'s leg inside the box , and not give a foul/free/PENALTY ! the game was over(3-1) so wasnt a gome winning decision .

Couldn't be a penalty as the ball was out of play. Definitely a red card though, even if it was only on dirty red scum :nono:

Most people have said it should have been a red. I think the ref got it wrong. To be honest I thought Hernandez dived as I saw it live.

Shame really. I can still remember the days when sport was played in a fair and sportsmanlike manner without the apparent necessity to win at any cost!

I think Cole was trying to block, but he followed through into the player, i don't think he was trying to injure him but still deserved red for dangerous play...

I suspect the linesman didn't see the foul itself, only the deliberate & malicious kick that Cole swung at the back of Hernandez' legs, which definitely happened after the ball went out of play ;)
