Blitz hitting suspension arm/chassis....

Anyone else had this problem? its driving me nuts as I hate rattles!

I have a 2007 hawkeye and straight exit blitz, had to cut a corner out of the diffuser out as it rubbed slightly, but it seems where the 3" pipe increases close to the 2.5 connector on the backbox it fouls the chassis where it conects with a wheel/suspension arm!

The upshot is a "rattle" at low revs because the vibration causes it to rub knock and also over bumpy roads!

Anyone else had this problem?

Only thing I can think to do is get the hanging arms lengthened by an 1" or so "or" can you get slightly longer rubber connectors for chassis/exhaust mount?

Suggestions?

Blitz Spec S or Spec R ? I ran the former with no issues :)

never heard of a problem with blitz. mine is spot on. 04 sti. id check that the mounts you used are the correct ones and check that the hangers are not bent during transit etc....

if you are not sure, get under there and take some pics of the above parts and im sure well get it sorted.

Nur spec S connected to a stright thru non-res centrepipe, all seems very odd tbh!

Everything else seems spot on?

Will get a couple of pics up tomorrow:thumb:

It's more likely an issue with the other pipes and how they angle :) You can loosen everything off and get things better aligned by playing with the Box when everything else is loose :)
