Iridium plugs-safe now?
I recall a few years ago a bit of a scare regarding the integrity of Iridium plugs when used in relatively powerful engines. An instance or two of the electrode insulator failing were reported.
I have a set of Denso 'tough' VK22 (iridium centre electrode/platinum ground) and would like some reassurance before fitting! Is anyone using these or similar, with success? (I've used NGK iridium before with no probs.) JohnD |

Thought I'd revive this thread for any more comment if possible.
