I used to a few years ago only as a farm hand though. I worked in lostwithiel which was about 4 miles away from Bodmin.

Jolly Green Monster 10 July 2011 10:46 PM

nearby is ideal..

foxarm - you have PM

kingofturds 10 July 2011 10:53 PM

No worries this was a decade ago though, although I did work closely with a fair fe farmers working for st merryn, Mostly the ones who did not want to get their legs broken by the owner.

:lol1: went to Cornwall last year for a weeks holiday and stayed just on the outskirts of Bodmin - was a lovely place as is Cornwall as a whole.

If you think Bodmin is a dump you need to get out and see some of the rest of the UK and not just Cornwall ;)

Jamo 11 July 2011 10:24 AM

think we stayed at bodmin bay a few years ago, it was really nice.

bit of a cryptic and random question Simon? :D

Wasnt the intention but yes could do it one evening. :)

Jolly Green Monster 11 July 2011 04:54 PM

Thanks but thats exactly not what I want.

Literally a field with nothing in it. Hate campsites etc

A tall order but have farmers in other areas of the country I have used frequently but none in this area :)

I was gonna say,...

If Simon's latest green machine was ready and could be driven down there, then "The Beast of Bodmin Moor" would take on a whole new meaning. ;)
