what about headers?

Headers i would recommend GT Spec, you can pick up for £300-£400,sometimes you can pick up for less.GT Spec and RCM headers are same or similar like construction or quality.

Just don't try to buy ebay headers, these will blown after few hundred miles, due this not worth it.

If you contact here FB Tuning which selling 3-port boost solenoid for around £60.

About the dyno results on WRX,every engine is not same and not everyone will make same power with same setup.

Here is my spec

2.1 SBR JDM WRX with AVCS built and mapped by Neil@Slowboy Racing
(Cosworth pistons,SBR Rods,ACL Race Bearing sets:big end and main bearing set,Cosworth baffled sump, 12mm Oil pump and water pump,11mm ARP Headstuds,Cosworth HG,79mm Crankshaft)

650cc PE injectors with Fuel Lab FPR and Billet Fuel Filter

SBR Parallel Rails

Blouch Dominator 3.0XT-R(here known as SC50)

Hard Inlet Pipe

Custom FMIC

Inlet manifold custom powder coated

Powder coated Alternator and Header Tank

TGV Delete

255lb Walbro Fuel Pump(Bosch 044 second pump)

3port boost solenoid with Apexi AVC-R(2 boost setting)

RCM Big cone

Setrab Oil cooler

4EAT Gearbox Mocal Oil cooler

3"HKS Carbon-Ti Cat Back Exhaust with Hayward and Scott downpipe

GT-Spec Headers with 3 bolt upipe

GT-Spec Cooling panel

HKS Billet Oil Cap

Blitz Header Tank Cap

Silicone hose kit

Alloy Radiator

OE ECU with switchable maps(Group N ROM/ALS and Open Source Remap) by Slowboy Racing

And how much will make,i hoping for around 450bhp for now,due gearbox issue.

Don't get carried away, a set of tubular headers may ruin your car's driveability... talk to Harvey about his ported OEM headers and up-pipe. Will keep the spool and allow it breathe more easily.

IMHO.

P.S. How likely is the clutch to manage all this extra torque ?

Depends on the turbo. Stock wrx turbo is limited if you got a vf34/35 you'd see great results

no worries, all about finding the best way to achieve your goals. Think i have found a solenoid i want now, have opted in for the group buy on fuel pumps, will consider headers now.... think i want mine ported, need to find someone local to do it though.

stucooper 07 June 2011 11:32 AM

Did you find it on here im sure i seen one last night for 30 quid

Boosty 07 June 2011 11:35 AM

ohhh no it wasnt, found one on stealbay for £45, but if theres one for £30 do show me where! that 15 quid is at least 15 miles of petrol :p

any ideas on who is local to GL6/GL7 South west near bristol, gloucestershire etc who would do header porting?

stucooper 07 June 2011 12:15 PM
