Rotated Setup Running A MAF Anyone Do It Just Now

I am building my car back up just now, and i was wanting to do a rotated setup. But i forgot i am still running a maf. I was wanting to run a 4" Alloy pipe from the filter. Is anyone running a maf on a rotated set up, if so can you please send me some pictures, or is it a no can do..........:D :D

Yes you can,but i would run Speed Density via OS or EcuTek or you can run Blow Through MAF

Here is Blow Through MAF setup

is that not a complete contradiction when rotated setups are for big horsepower applications and a maf is a restriction.

Theres a reason people dump mafs and go for a MAP sensor instead.

Jon a blow-thro' allows greater air flow to be calibrated, IIRC.

Neil @ EMB had his 2.5 running fine with such a set-up.

BUT I may be wrong...

LoL

P.S. I'm sure your preferred mapper will advise, but it should just need the MAF calibration curve adjusting if you fit it into a 4" pipe.

But you can run Speed Density and you will be not limited by MAF.

Yes is much better run MAP based ECU,but if are funds limited Speed density or Blow Through MAF is good option/cheap option.

Hi there for older ECU is not available Speed Density or Mafless function, you can go just via OS and speed density or Blow Through MAF..

I was going to go for a rotated setup whilst retaining the MAF but after some good advice i was told it wont be beneficial in anyway.

No way, mafless option is available for Hawkeye onwards 06...

You have only two option on OEM ECU,Speed density(Mafless) or Blow Through MAF.
Second option is Aftermarket ECU,someone here selling GEMS ECU for £500.
