Advice on private number plates.
1. The ones you see for sale are either on retention, or available for transfer. Is either preferable, and do you only pay £80 to put it on yours.
2. Is that a one off charge only. 3. Whats the best place to buy one. Its only to hide the age, and have something to keep long term. |
Newreg.com do dateless plates starting at £140 ........... don't get sucked into buying the plates themselves from them though.
I don't remember how much I paid, if the plate is on retention then the seller has paid for that. Shaun |
If i bought a plate on Ebay or Gumtree, what do i need to see from the seller to make sure its genuine. I'd rather not be scammed.

I sent the buyer a photo of the certificate and let them pay with paypal, I did this twice in the past 6 months and both buyers were happy
