Aren't kids supposed to drive around in 1.1L Fiestas until they get the hang of things.

Didn't get my E30 325i BMW (~170bhp) until I was nearly 25 and that was still a lot to insure back in them days :D

NO thats old school thinking, i'm 21 and in the last 3 years i've had a modified mini (proper one) to break my teeth on, then moved upwards everytime, modified fiesta mk5zs, modified fiesta mk6zs, modified mk1 Focus RS, Civic Type R and now my modified WRX aswell :D

hi there ..

just a quick question .. having seen all you guys insurances, i wonder .. which one has the most weighting ? NCB or driver's age ?

Example if A is 27 yrs old with 5 yrs ncb against B which is 31 yrs old with 2 yrs NCB .. which one has lower insurance ? thank you

Hi guys , ive done a few quotes on confused.com on a 2001 Bug eye WRX and its around £1700 and im 23 with 4 yrs driving and 3 yrs no claims... The i tryed it again but on an older shape 1997 wrx and it was like £2000?? Why is the insurance so much more on an older car?

I can live with paying £1700 but £2000 on an older car, cant work it out.. looking to get one next year.. cheers.
