lamco gauges
hi all i have 3 lamco gauges volts/boost/temp my question is where can i get the temp from the back of the clocks or from the ecu. thanks.
|
anyone got any idea's?
|
Hi all, right the dash is coming off tonight to fit a new matrix, as above do i need to wire to the clocks or the ecu while i got the dash off? thanks
|
i think you will need a sender that will be fitted into the block. is it oil/water temp?
|
Whats the temp range of the gauge?
Is it -20C to 50C? If so I believe its an intake temp gauge. I have one and i'm buggered if I know what sensor it uses. I've tried different thermistors without success. :( |
Yeah, I can't make out if it's an intake temp gauge, or an ambient air temp gauge.
If it's the former, then Subaru are deluded! Intake temps - on phase 1 cars' little slantly TMIC at least - can get into the frikkin' 70s!!!, let alone the 50s! |
Isn't it an outside air temperature gauge? About as useful as a voltmeter:rolleyes:

Bloody inaccurate though  (as you elude to). |
the lamcos in mine were volt, boost, and outside temperature the temp sender was down behind the osf indicator.

Cheers ^^^. Been trying to find that out for ages!
