Hi all.... your all going to kill me... BUT

Heres the thing long story short its been stolen... between work on the car. I have the full kit made around this turbo but not 100% sure what to order. Below are pictures of the turbo (sorry they aren't great but didnt think id be in this situation) £10 paypal to the person who can tell me what turbo it is & where to get one (new or used) at a good price. Cheers in advance. http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/l...O/S8000431.jpg http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/l...O/S8000428.jpg |
its a vf34 pal, just google what it says on the turbo
loads on the net mate just keep an eye out on sites like this one! |
Your not the first person to say that. but what exactly does a VF34 come off?
if it were a 1998 model were the VF34 being fitted then? |
i think it was still tdo4 and tdo5 in 98 pal, not 100% tho. later models maybe but normally used as an upgrade i believe
|
would a TD05 be a direct bolt on for eitther a VF34 or VF28
|
Its not a 34 mate as the outlet on the compressor is pointing the wrong way and the name plate is not like that on a 34 either it looks like a 35 to me.
http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk/up...aru_vf34_1.jpgthis is a 34 http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:A...DtpJF3-R6f&t=1this is 35 You could use a 28/34/35 as all are around the same size and would work with your setup mate, here is a 28 for sale Ebay item number 160548721129 |
Quick question.
anyone able to point out the main differences between these. Im looking for one to that can take 300 BHP |
vf 34 is a ball bearing design core and a 35 is a brass insert fluid filled bearing core so slight bit more lag when spooling, both will make over 300bhp with the right mods in place.:thumb:
