I thought it was better than the first one.

I watched it again and it was OK. Hard crowd you lot.

Didn't like it again last night. Its like they haven't even bothered to try and make it interesting and just used a generic plot from the scifi filing cabinet.

If you just want an alien vs human gore fest then it probably isn't the right programme for you:);) |

Perhaps you need to give it a chance, more than 2 episodes? I thought it was getting more interesting.

I'd prefer a gore fest to this bore fest to be honest yes.
Doesn't mean that i won't be watching the Chronicles of Riddick or Aliens SE later on tonight:) |

Think they were given a budget to make it. Some bright spark decided to hire that actor out of Ugly Betty and blew the budget, that only left them with £10.37 to make the 6 part series. |

It is a drama set in the future, not an all action shoot em up and never pretended to be anything else, not from the trailers or write up. I shal give it a chance and see what develops.

a programme doesn't need to be an action shoot em up to be interesting Paul. If they maybe came up with a plot that was in some way original, it would be a start.
Outcasts seems like a very loose rehash and rejiggle of Earth2. and earth2 a rejiggle of Forbidden Planet or bits of other sci-fi cut together. Hardly anything is new, take Avatar - the Last of the Mohicans set on another planet - great film though!:) The plot is still evolving which is good as i would rather that be the case than it all be spelled out in the first 20 minutes. Then again what do i know, I like Blakes7;) Really, i do! |

If you think about it though, although I'll watch it again you don't have to have lots of wizzy shooty bang things to make a space film interesting - Moon for example was a great film and could have been equally good on a shoestring budget. Solaris on the other hand was in space with George Clooney and I watched it once and threw the DVD in the bin in disgust. Heres another one - V Has it been given a 2nd series or has it been canned? |
V was excellent
Second series will be back - Syfy were hinting about it recently |
