Vacuum Line for Dump Valve.

Hi Guy's
Are there any rules regarding where you pick up the Vacuum for the Dump Valve.
Fitting a Blitz Dump Valve and want to know the correct way to connect Vacuum hose.
Any info much appreciated.
Regards Dave.

Some of the classics had a pipe on the inlet manifold that was blocked off. Or you'll have to 'T' in to another vac line.

Forgot to mention.
To fit to Newage 06reg WRX STI Type UK.
Cheers Dave.

Ideally i would take from the manifold, im not sure about the extra port on a new age. You can just add a T piece into another vac line. Do you not have any fitting instructions?

Take it off any vacuum line except the one to the MAP iirc.
I`m lucky in that I have a classic so has its own vacuum feed that the boost gauge runs off too.

On my bug the boost guage is teed off the dump valve, is that wrong?

If there's not a spare nipple on the IM, then T into a vac/boost gauge's vac feed (if you have one).

As said, it's not very wise to T into the ones for the MAP or the FPR. :(
