Tried that once, admittedly it was only a Vindaloo not a Phall, anyway wake up the following morning still feeling like sh*te but now with a strong urge to get to the bathroom where I proceeded to spend the next half hour having my ring piece torn apart by the previous evenings culinary delicacy. Suffice to say I felt even worse after that :D

Still it was worth a try :lol1:

Had plenty of heavy colds in my time but nothing like this. Guess I've been 'lucky' to make it to 41 before my first real Flu. Temp finally down to 38.4 this morning so hopefully turning the corner.

I once had a heavy cold and had tickets to a gig and didnt want to waste them although I really didnt fell like going, I ended up getting pi$$ed out of my box, woke up the next morning and felt great. It certainly never works like that without a cold

So in essence get out of the home get some fresh air listen to loud music and throw lots of beer down your throat, jobs a good un :thumb:

If you had real flu you would be in bed feeling sorry for yourself, most likely with tbe shakes, feeling freezing while actually burning up at the same time.

I use the term 'man flu' for most ailments and complaints that Mr P has, mostly because he's never had more than a sniffle or a cold.

What's ironic is that I have had some right problems, one being a kidney infection, I threw 2 pints of water down my neck with intention of going to work, I then lay on the living room floor from where I stayed and couldn't move for pain, there I stayed for a while until I could get myself to the doctors.

I had to take my 10 month old (at the time) with me and drive to tbe gp surgery. I was a White as a sheet abd sweating like I don't know what.

Sadly I didn't get nursed back to health, as I had a baby to look after :(

It's a very hot "Indian" curry Les for those whom a Vindaloo is not enough. I tried a bit of a mates once, just a bit of nan dipped in the sauce, and my mouth was on fire for ages :D
