Chaos is just going to start if you are ordering stuff on line!
Looks like chaos is just starting to break out in the online shopping world, nearly all couriers are suspending deliveries to Scotland and major backlogs in the North of England means that the depots in those areas are not accepting any parcels.
Royal Mail is going to get a sudden rush of parcels in to there network over the next 24 hours which I am sure they wont be able to cope with... sorry folks christmas is cancelled! If we end up getting even one or two more snow flakes  |
I've already got a list of stuff ive been waiting on from since before the snow, that's my christmas ****ed then :lol1:
Bless my post lady, she did make sunday deliveries last week for parcels she couldn't carry during the week |
It's pathetic and the only funny thing is the government squirming after telling us it wouldn't be this way under their watch.
The country has ground to a halt not because of sevre weather, but because of successive governments and councils stikcing their heads in the sand and pretending this could never happen. |
Has this been on the news anywhere, or is it just the rumour mill causing a furore?

Our overnight carriers have had some problems delivering to Scotland & esp Highlands but deliveries are now getting through. Old news I'm afraid but that might change if it snows again next week.
|
I sent a parcel 3 weeks ago that never turned up, I ended up having to give the customer his money back. Guess I will have to go through the royal mails compensation merry go round.

The country has ground to a halt not because of sevre weather, but because of successive governments and councils signing up to the lunatic global warming agenda and assuring us this could never happen. EFA! :thumb: Dave |

Parcelforce have suspended all new parcel deliveries to Scotland (except part of Inverness) you can not even enter a new parcel on to the system as they are trying to clear the backlog . HDNL suspended new parcels for Scotland, Hull, gatwick and a few others 2 to 3 day backlog with nearly every courier. |
Looks like its fact :)
Taken from parcelforce http://www.parcelforce.com/portal/pw...diaId=79200739 mart |
looks like royal mail already cannot cope. I sent a parcel 1st class recorded on the 2nd december to scotland and its still not been delivered.

Santa doesn't use Royal mail, he has a magic sledge pulled by Reindeer. One of which has a big shiny red nose.
I take comfort in knowing Santa will deliver all my presents on Christmas morning. I'll leave Cookies out with a glass of milk with some carrots for the Reindeer as a little thankyou. |
