ej22 short block
ok, I was going over my receipt when the rebuild by subaru caught my eye. all the codes were ej22?? and it mentioned replacing with short block.
Assuming this is a 2.2 and its still in the car how would I be able to tell ? |

If you look down the side of the alternator, you should be able to see it clearly marked on a raised plaque. |

If you have a 22b then it should be standard ;) but you didnt say what car or why the engine had been rebuilt by subaru?

Tony, I wish it was a 22b. its the next best thing, type r |
Aw well, unlucky. Id be asking subaru why the reciepts say ej22, when its an ej20. Maybe they have conned an unsuspecting customer.
