Thanks for the math! Mine works out at a 1.5 litre requirement, I thought a 2 litre tank was a massive overkill but maybe not so much after all! I've got two fuel pumps so would there be an additional requirement for the swirl pot size? I've got half a litre to play with so I'm guessing I'll be fine

anyone done an under the bonnet install yet?
i'm hoping to avoid installing in the boot. |
This thread has some photos of an engine bay swirl pot: linky

thanks bobfrog...
wow is it me or is that battery tiny! |
They're not cheap either! I know some (if not all) are sealed so you can stand them on end etc, not sure how long it would last if you do a lot of short journeys with the heaters and blowers constantly on though

What fittings are people using to go from the braided hoses onto the originatl fuel tank outlets? Or have you had An fittings brazed on?
|
I welded on -6AN fttings.
There are pipe to hardline fittings available, but they are probably to bulky for this particular use, and the fitment might be a bit critical. As you have to cut off the bulge on the end of each pipe for fitting them , you'll end up too close to the bend in the pipe for them to work, as most of the pipe afdapter require 15mm of straight pipe. |
