550bhp Enginetuner, Total Impreza & JP featured bombproof classic. Amazing spec.

Well after only a couple of months of ownership i may have to sell her for reasons out of my controlhttp://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...ilies/cry2.gif looked for so long high and low until this came up, spec, history mag features speak for itself. Certainly not many classics at this level of tune.http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...lies/thumb.gif
Started life as a uk green Prodive limited edition with plaque.
Probably 90% of car has been rebuilt by Martyn Jefferies own hands and he knows the car like the back of his hand, no exaggeration he knows every nut and bolt of this car and no doubt he would have no problem veryfying anything on this car!

550+ HP highly modified subaru impreza classic only has 2500 miles on brand new engine Full forge, heads and parts by Roger Clark spent over £50,000 with receipts to prove, built for track, drag strip mega fun and not for the faint hearted has been a on going project for the last 3 years
All documented paperwork and receipts from Enginetuner.
Drove down to see Martyn at Enginetuner only 2 weeks ago where he stuck on his rollers to make sure map was 100% healthy, with a few fettle adjustments he was amazed how strong engine was with nothing changed from a fresh build 2.5 years and only 2.5k miles under its belt.
This engine is absolutely bomb proof and is built to withstand alot more than its running now.
The car drives as you may expect, yes perfect, the twin HKS clutch does take a little getting use to but then again it is designed to withstand 700-800bhp! Honestly you do get use to it. The car is not fully stripped out just back seats, all dash , door cards are still in, the roof has no lining as its had a brand new roof as old one had sunroof in and made chassis not as strong.
The bodywork is not pristine but i would class it very good with odd stone chip generally.
Performance wise it really does just need driving, i've owned a few fast cars over the years but too me this is in another league, a league of its own! Power delivery is immensley savage and brutal, people have commented when out in it that its "like it has no turbo" because there in no lag whatsoever, instantly the power is on again pressing you hard in to the seats uncontrollably!
Handling is sublime and braking is second to none with nearly new pads and discs all around on the 8and 6 pot K-Sport set up.
As soon as i bought the car it went straight in to Carnetix for full fluid change, fast road/track set up/ 2.5l fuel swirl pot pump upgrade from 255 to 300 and thourough check over, where everything was confirmed as expected, sound!
Tax June 11

Ok Fud, box is in sound working order and never shown any glimpse what so ever, feels tight and sweet as a nut. If anyone wants confirmation then a test drive would suffice surely as proof is in the pudding:lol1: Failing that speak to Martyn at Enginetuner as i was only down there with it a few weeks ago, and am certain he will confirm everything i've already mentioned, not just that the 6 speed is fine but generally everything on the car.;)

so shocked this is still here, pls dont strip it mate would be such a shame

btt for a genuine guy and seller

stevie1982 24 November 2010 05:23 PM

also mate, get some pictures up, you are asking near on 10k for a car with only one picture, not really going to tempt people into buying it,

TYPE R BRAD 25 November 2010 05:36 PM

Many thanks Steve, so bloody cold earlier but only chance i had to clean it and take some pics, not the best as sun was so low:( The shell has covered 130k but that is only the shell, every possible component has been upgraded and modified within the last 3-4 years!

Now may consider px up to £2500 if its right for me!
