The Spec C is quicker than a 3.2S Boxster and will be faster than most 911's in the new year. :D

Come on guys it's obvious. It's an induction kit with a restrictor to reduce surge.

ryan33hks 04 November 2010 08:02 PM

Yes they do when an induction kit is fitted to a JDM twin scroll, that's a proper Impreza. ;)

STI Glenn 05 November 2010 06:35 PM

Sorry Ty but i have not got any surge on mine

I do when at part open throttle, if I am at 70mph in 6th gear and accelerate then I get surge as I go past 1 bar of boost up to 1.6 bar. :(

The new induction kit is winging it's way to me now as I type, it'll be in my mitts by 6pm. :D

STI Glenn 05 November 2010 06:55 PM

Happy days ,did Bob think new induction would cure it

Well there's the story I've heard so many different story's about the causes of compressor surge on the twin scroll engines that I've decided to try the induction kit to see if it does cure it. ;)

This induction kit isn't even in production yet and only available from one source at the moment. :D

I have spoken to Bob and I'm going back up on the 27th for a tweak, plus I might also have another shiny new bit on the car by then as well. ;)

And the induction kit isn't with me yet.

STI Glenn 05 November 2010 07:28 PM

Looking forward to seeing it and what it does
