Get hold of an old gearbox input shaft, and cut it to a suitable length.

Perfect clutch alignment tool ;)

.

I wish I had a old gearbox input shaft ppg box now.

Anyone know the dai size of the alignment tool because I might be able to buy something for the job, just knowing what the dia size is would be helpful.
I never get any joy from this forum

As above input shaft from a breakers or the alignment tool that should come with the clutch when new. Making a spline tool can work if you’re stuck, but I wouldn’t suggest this for a twin plate set up, you may be there for some time.

Yes have been there for some time already lol. if you don't line the clutch plates up correctly you can get some vibrration in clutch I believe.....

If you don't align the splines in the two friction plates with each other, you can damage the splines by trying to force the motor onto the input shaft/gearbox.

To much investment in my motor to force something on everything got to be perfect.
