Contact your bank, they may be able to help directly or if not should be able to point you in the right direction.
|
Phone Police and get a crime reference number, then phone the bank and ask them to investigate the fraud. Bank should refund the money.
I'm going through the same with Santander over some payments that have gone out of my account. |

Yep - admin. Did you use a credit card? that might be your only option now, let them chase it while you get your money back.
Then, as with anything like this dude - Post Office. I'm only happy swapping cash for... er... cash. 5t. |
There was a report about this on Radio 4's Money Programme recently. Might be worth an e-mail to them as they might have some practical advice for the many listeners who had complained. Worth a message at least. Good luck. dl

THANKS GUYS.just seen the bbc site and indeed its went into administration.glad i didnt get a grands worth now.some poor sods have lost £10000.
lesson learnt.i will never do this again.bad timing on my part by deciding to get my money on 1/10/10 a few days earlier and i wouldve been ok. i must be jinxed.i put money into icesave and it went tits up.eventually got it back. then changed bank to santander .as they promised no mistakes.guess what some direct debits never transferred so im still trying to sort it. im off to vegas in a few weeks i wonder if i should gamble!!!!!!!! forgot to say i booked with british airways.no doubt they will be on strike. |
Sorry to hear about your loss. They certainly seem to have gone to the wall by all accounts. Hope they don't escape the consequences or make any money out of it personally.
