I understand the theory behind HDR, but prefer raw imagery - I'm a bit old school having cut my teeth on wet film:Whatever_

Looks good all the same, great looking car:thumb:

is he using Photomatix?

wrathchild_78 13 September 2010 11:54 AM

it seems that your attempt at HDR (in my eyes) looks better than the one from the professional....

great coloring and great car!!

ironbridge 13 September 2010 03:17 PM

best to avoid trees that close in the background because they will move over the different exposures.
nice pics though.

ironbridge 13 September 2010 03:18 PM

there is one program where you can pyseudo-tone map an image from a single jpeg

tomdscooby 13 September 2010 06:49 PM

cool, i used 5 pics off a sh*t camera and cs3 photoshop and i found the tree to be a right b*tch! kept gettin a halo round it. its an addictive photo medium!

baz995 13 September 2010 08:51 PM

nice photos mate, if you fancy using a program with an easier interface try dynamic HDR its brilliant and you will hardly ever get halos.

I love HDR its so much fun and can produce some stunning results, very easy to get a weird unreal effect though

i do like the scooby here

this is the one i mean http://www.mediachance.com/hdri/index.html

baz995 13 September 2010 08:56 PM

if you had the originals i would love to have a go with dynamic for you, would be interesting to see the difference. If you have a look at my site most have been taken with a compact £79 camera ;-)
