The Trooper 1815 08 September 2010 09:23 AM

Still 50/50 if it's coming here. Still needs a new front end though.

A Bulldog, off a thistle, ****e, licking.

Abx 08 September 2010 09:53 AM

Correct, think they hit the uk shores last weekend and are currently having alarms etc fitted by IM.

Abx 08 September 2010 09:53 AM

They are coming without the high level spoiler though.

Talking STi.

G-string 08 September 2010 10:00 AM

i like it, its better than the hatch anyway.

Lagamorphandy 08 September 2010 10:06 AM

rear end is too busy but atleast its an improvement on the hatch.

Abx 08 September 2010 10:18 AM

Its alright, looking forward to seeing one in the flesh, would not trade my hatch for one though as it's way to practicle!

alcazar 08 September 2010 12:02 PM

It has the same proble as the hatch, though: the rear has been designed by someone who can't design car rears;) FAR too fussy.

Steve_PPP 08 September 2010 12:46 PM

i like it :)

codie247 08 September 2010 05:25 PM

Very nice. Still prefer the hatch shape though.

and I imagine the handy rear wiper gets the chop too

useful practicality gain should increase appeal; didn't buy a hatch because of the useless boot

Really?

I find the boot in my hatch way more practicle than I ever did with the Hawk, step ladders, tv's, bikes, funiture, all stuff that I only dream of putting in the hawk.

barrybudden 09 September 2010 07:34 PM

Looks cheep and nasty, reminds me of a cheep body kit.

Norman Dog 09 September 2010 08:24 PM

The back looks good, the front still reminds me of when the Bugeye came out..

Jamz3k 09 September 2010 08:39 PM

that looks very shit if I'm honest. Least it'll fit in well if ya ever want to go to a Hyundai Owners Club meet.

aXeL 09 September 2010 09:07 PM

FINALLY - the first good looking scoob since the hawkeye...

And sadly the front is the same as the hatch... worse than the rear ... all in all another exercise in turd polishing from Subaru.

Looks like a vectra with a bad body kit.

Quite right - hang onto the hatch because they're fantastic cars :thumb:

Here what you'll be getting in the UK
http://i54.tinypic.com/28bd1xg.jpg

Now - you guys still think its a better looking car than the hatch.

OMG yes! - The hatch is FUGLY with the emphasis on the 'F' (commence flame...). This is far better looking :luvlove:. Don't know why but it made me think of the new M3. The hatch on the other hand makes me think of the turtles head... back in 5

GazTheHat 11 September 2010 01:42 AM

I was not one to call the hatch ugly and in fact it's grown on me a lot. The hawk & blob now look old-skool. But this....i'm sorry, it just looks wrong!

stedee 11 September 2010 01:47 AM

i like the fronts of both its the rest of the car thats the problem ie the arches just dont look right, the side view of the hatch is awful and the back of the sedan (yes talking american) because it looks like a yank designed it to me.(looks cheap and tacky)

DJ_Jon 11 September 2010 06:56 AM

It looks alright, nowhere near as good looking as the Hawkeye. I don't mind the hatch, as for how practical it is, I would have thought the hatch should have a decent enough size boot.

I don't think I will be buying one, they just don't look right.

jonezy 11 September 2010 09:52 AM

prefer the hatch to the new sedan tbh, looks like a e92 3 series with a bodykit,

at the same time it kind of looks like the mazda 3 saloon if you ever saw one
