I have a built 2 litre P1 with an old RCM hybrid turbo on it (GT35/P20 hybrid) plus the RCM cams as well - not too laggy either in that it's up and going from 3800.
Had a roll on test against someone in a 2.1 engined p1 with an MD321T from about 60mph on Friday night and to say he was surprised is an understatement -admittedly he was two up whereas there was only me in my car. Clive was there as well, but we went separate ways - next time I'd be curious to see how much quicker his is as I have a rotated 30r kit to go on, but I'm now having second thoughts about whether I should bother or not. fat boy: what was the outcome between you and that 2.1/321t? a big gap ahead?

John what did you decide then?
Banny Hi Banny, sorry for the delay - I was waiting for my turbo to spool up :D Must have missed this back then - went 2.1 litre myself with an MD321V for now...but still have the GT30R and a few other bits and bobs :D |

He wasn't happy: "eff me - I didn't expect that"! |
