hi guys.
anybody have a hawkeye with a oil temp gauge fitted, that can take a photo of the sensor blank location to put the sender unit.
i am having problems finding mine as i have no idea what to look for.
i have found the sensor for the pressure thats the easy one.
cheers in advance.

Fitted a set to my Hawk STi recently

Oil pressure picked up with a T piece adapter behind the Alternator

Oil temp sits above the 3rd cylinder (The one nearest to your knee - if you know what I mean) below the Intercooler

Would post a pic but its so hidden when re-assembled there's no point.

Hope this helps

Take off the intercooler and pop off the coolant hoses around the turbo.
Standing on the drivers side of the intercooler, shine a good torch down to just behind the black pipes, you'll see a bronze coloured hex piece - I believe it's 8mm. It's the size of a 2p once you remove it. You'll need a good long bar and a quality hex piece to get it out (won't we dunx :D).

Once it's off, be very careful not to let anything drop down into the cylinder itself (!), drop in the new sender and away you go :)
