Baring the mental confusion which is a bit subjective ;) this should help you tell.

I think true sunstroke is pretty serious so make sure you monitor your symptoms

You goon :brickwall

Drink plenty of fluids (sports drinks if you can as you need to replace the salt you will have lost, sweating), cool bath or shower and lie down in a cool place with as little clothing on as possible.
Sunstroke is a serious business, you need to look after your self :thumb:

Hold on tight mave a white knuckle ride is on the way if you do have it!

Get lots of cold damp towels to take the heat from the burn.

Man i feel for you mate i get burnt every year, my man pride gets in the way of using sun cream, followed by alot of abuse from my missus telling me "i told you so":lol1:

I have had heat stroke before and didn't have a clue where I was and had to go to hospital, if you have sunstroke its even worse so I think your ok :D

Leslie 27 June 2010 08:45 AM

I had it as a child and can only remember that I felt dizzy and kept wanting to be sick. Took a while to recover fully.

Went to the army thing yesterday to celebrate what the troops do for us. Some of the young cadets were collapsing in the heat :( after that they started passing out water for em to drink!

Dude the wurst thing i have ever had. I started to see things, ****ing, vomiting, shivering, no energy. Its just like being on a fcuking roller coaster, that you just cant get off.

ahar 27 June 2010 11:29 AM

If you're on Scoobynet, you probably don't have heat stroke (which is where the body's natural mechanism to regulate heat gives up and you might die). You probably (if in doubt, go on nhs direct, www.nhs.uk) have heat exhaustion where you're very dehydrated and you're far too hot.

As previous posters said, plenty of fluids (diluted fruit juice is good for example) - NO ALCOHOL. Lie down somewhere cool and treat sunburn with a good afterburn gel and don't be so silly next time!

He'll just have to leave the babycham and creme de menthe alone for a couple of days, he is such a gheyer at the best of times, it is probably just a little bit of sunburn that in most cases people would just get on with what they are doing and stop whining like a biatch!

Sunstroke - makes a change from him stroking his ickle willy i suppose;)
