Damn that is tempting. What would it take to mate it to my 54 STI8 engine?
Not alot just put your heads and ancilleries on and youd be good to go, but it would be worth investing in a good turbo,... injectors and getting your heads worked abit to get the best from this block.. I didnt think they made 2.5 in a cdb, but I might be wrong....

do what i done after selling my car put the block away for a rainy day lol you could always use a forged block on your next scoob
dont want to go back down that road cost's to much
what sort of power can this block take.
Mine is running 503 @ 1.8bar md321v
what they like compared to a 2.0 forged in a classic.
You get a shed load more TQ and massively reduced lag but it doesnt rev as much.
I went from a 2.0 with a 18g to a 2.5 with 20g and love it. Dependant on turbo running you may have to think about box also(sorry dont know your spec) |
503/526 standard location md series turbo, you will find it very hard to achieve that on a 2.0
