Hi folks,

My ITG panel filter is currently sitting in a plastic bag awaiting transplantation into Scooby Doo MkII, so I thought that I would clean it. I have already been silly and run some water over it and kitchen roll  but as you can imagine, that did far more harm than good!:o How do I clean the existing gooey stuff out of the filter and then do I need to get new gooey stuff to put back on it?

Thanks in advance,

Nick :)

You can get proper cleaning fluid for your particualt filter, use that. Not expensive and will do the job right.

Don't use another brand (say K&N, etc..) as not all filters are made the same and what cleans one may f*ck up another.

Throw it away and buy a new one - only cleaning you can do to the ITG is remove surface debris with a kitchen towel.
