The IHI VF 34/35 as found on the STi's gives virtually the same performance.... look in the for sale section for a good used one :D

Usually plenty used ones on ebay and cheap too. You'll just need to convert the housing to front entry.

I've got one spare here too if you need £150. :thumb:

If you do go on Ebat you need to make sure you end up with a legit TD05 and not a Chinese copy, which will be about as useful as a fart in a thunderstorm! :)

Sorted

Thanks for the replys fellas
have spoken to Harvey today and I'm going for one of his td05-18g units along with a set of flow matched injectors from him. Hope this with my other mods and a re work of my map by andrew carr will see me to 330 - 340 bhp fingers crossed!!

Good choice of turbo mate :thumb:

Glad you went with Harvey too, he's a top bloke and very well respected on here

The TD05 18G is a very capable turbo.........with a touch of methanol I'm running around the 400 BHP mark on my bugeye :D

At this sort of BHP / Torque you can start to break the WRX drivetrain so be careful LOL

Nice to see someone else from tellins on here. I have got an Andy F TD04 hybrid waiting to go on my bug wrx with supporting mods. Do you have contact details for Andy Carr for when mine needs mapping.

Cheers,

Ayde.

Job Done! Cheers Guys

Turbo arrived from Harvey next day thanks to him going to the courier personally as it was too late for them to collect it. Cheers Fella!:thumb:

So then off to scoobyteknix armed with my new STI intercooler , Harvey TD05-18G and a set of his flow tested pink injectors. They had to cut away a bit from the block as a oil return pipe was hitting it but they got it on. Then Andrew Carr (who I must say had the patience of a saint after waiting for turbo to go on) pluged in the laptop and off we went , well what can I say it pulls and pulls and youve guesed it , it pulls.. Made up will get on the rollers soon and post figures but car is just fantastic. Yeah there is a bit of lag but when the power comes its strong and does not fade at all right to the red line.

Thanks to the fellas at scoobyteknix for there perseverance and Andrew for another cracking job on my car!!:notworthy
