For anyone that might be interested in joining the dark side :D
These are the equivalent Evo's to the scoob Spec C's, light weight, rally versions for anyone that don't know. This was up for sale before Christmas and I bottled selling it as Id hardly used it, its now 100% got to go due to moving house, I really do not want to sell but a bigger, better property is more important than a car, hopefully if this sells Il be back soon enough in a newer Evo. Full underseal by TRL (underneath very, very clean upon importation to UK) Carbon b-pillar trims Braking OEM Brembo's Performance Friction front discs XP8 front pads Lots and lots probably missed out, solid 500/500 car with lightweight shell, Suspension, handling, braking and power have all been addressed and makes for an amazingly quick car ideal for track use and sprinting. In need of a fuel system and inlet manifold and will make 540-550 bhp fairly easy from what i gather, and big brake upgrade which will ultimately make it an awesome track car. It drives fine on the road with very, if any lag at all, a downchange leaves it puilling just like stock spool and 0-120mph appears in no time without having lead in your boots, will do 150mph at 8k rpm. I had this all built after the bottom end went in August, instead of opting for a cheaper stock engine I thought id do it all right and make sure I did it some justice, its a very raw car, as those who have been in it will attest, driving it daily will make some go around the bend, but with seats back in it would be as much at home on the road as it would be on a track or sprint. People who know their Evo's will know how highly rated the 6rs's are, and strokered, they are even better, not sure on weight but id say no more than 1260kg wet without driver. New parts added january 2010 include, and new Rota dpt's (ray ce28's lookalikes) at a cost of approx £750, also, a koyo rad and new slimline fan (will be provided as not yet fitted) - also new sensors for the SPA oil pressure and oil temp guages plus labour to fit, all in all, £1400 spent since christmas. Tax til end of march or april, and MOT til end of March.... Will be used for the 30-130mph as hotel and event paid for, on a vbox it has done a 12.7 sec 30-130mph with only 1.7bar of boost and 0-100mph in 9.2 sec again with 1.7 bar and a rolling start (not launched) - with a remap/fuel pump it should run 2.2 bar peak and obviously very quick times. Asking £16,000 ovno Ring Jim on 0791 2345 or 07792 144 865 Picture time....new wheels but not cleaned http://www.lancerregister.com/images...s/rolleyes.gif http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...100_1588-1.jpg http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...c/100_1591.jpg http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...c/100_1586.jpg http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture013.jpg http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture016.jpg http://i427.photobucket.com/albums/p...Picture018.jpg |
Wow what a car and can I just that has to be one of the best adverts I have read in a long time, well written with plenty of information. Best of luck with the sale mate cracking looking car

Thanks mate, after spending close to 24k including buying it I thought I best spend some time on attention to detail, it is an awesome car but bricks and mortar are a calling!
Im doing the MLR 30-130 day and expect it to do a 11.5 sec run...hopefully, with a proper launch the 0-100mph should in fairness be around 8 seconds or so....not everyone is obsessed with these figures but its a car that demands to be used tbh and shows the performance in real world terms. Makes an ideal sprint or trackday car, with just a swirlpot fuel system added and some big brakes, although the uprated disc and pad combo handles 500 horses well. |
Nice spec and nice car :thumb: Good luck with the sale

very nice spec and car good luck mate

WOW:notworthy
I Had a 400bhp Evo 6 RS and it was very quick, Can only imagine what a extra 100bhp would feel like!!!!:thumb: Owned Evo 6 GSR and RS and the RS is in a different league to the GSR, At least you havent got the dreaded AYC on these models. Good luck with the sale mate, but I think your mad selling it!!!;) |
