Are you using 64 bit IE

typer2009 13 February 2010 03:18 PM

What does that mean? I download it and when its nearly complete like 90% it says failed to register.

Update your adobe reader instead, whatever was in the update for the reader worked as I had the same as you mate with the player, worked straight after.

Strange, I would try this..

How to uninstall the Adobe Flash Player plug-in and ActiveX control

Then try run the program again.

typer2009 17 February 2010 06:12 PM

Tried it still the same

Hanley 17 February 2010 07:05 PM

Are you on Vista by any chance?

Hanley 17 February 2010 07:08 PM

Try checking out this link

Flash not installing correctly on Vista has been a problem for years, but the link above will help you fix it.

:)

Hanley 17 February 2010 07:20 PM

When you go to the link above, make sure you first follow their link for the Flash Player uninstaller.

You've more than likely got a corrupt install so remove it and follow their steps to re-install.

typer2009 18 February 2010 05:02 PM

Done the scan with regcure it found alot of faults so paid the £30 quid to fix them all, went to download the adobe again, downloaded fine went to install it and guess wot "failed to install"

typer2009 18 February 2010 05:13 PM

Failed to install for troubleshooting tips go to Troubleshoot Flash Player installation for Windows

Thats what it keeps saying???

Hanley 18 February 2010 05:28 PM

Did you download the Uninstaller from here

Download the Flash Player Uninstall program to remove Flash

typer2009 18 February 2010 05:37 PM

Yea i done that one

Hanley 18 February 2010 05:41 PM

Did you try and download the installer, save it to your desktop and then run it rather than trying to install it via IE?

typer2009 18 February 2010 05:46 PM

Yeah i saved it to my desktop and then tried to install but says failed

:(:(:(:(

Download Little Registry Cleaner 1.4 - The first registry cleaning tool that is available as open source - Softpedia

Only thing I can suggest is to use Firefox and see if that works

I had this problem about 2 years ago with Vista, I got so annoyed I ended up re-installi the OS and that sorted it.

typer2009 21 February 2010 04:14 PM

Hanley 21 February 2010 08:36 PM
