I think that's an ex Group N or WRC car....?

I think it has an SRT plate which would be ex prodrive.

huzzy1 10 February 2010 01:58 PM

Nice, even the under arch sealant is white!

dazdavies 10 February 2010 02:33 PM

It's piss poor that one on ebay.

Misaligned panels poor blending, I wouldnt be paying anywhere near the asking price for that!!

scoobyhurky 10 February 2010 03:09 PM

Rossco_ 10 February 2010 03:14 PM

smoked-wagon 10 February 2010 03:21 PM

I saw that ebay one in the flesh on Monday.........It looks good to me !!!!

trackcar 10 February 2010 04:02 PM

the ebay one is shocking, all that time and effort and hasn't even bothered to simply bolt the 22b bumpers on, what a fool.

mwinter7 10 February 2010 04:06 PM

Like that second picture, stick the kit on

g7prs 10 February 2010 04:11 PM

This one looked good when we were down at Chester.

gents easy as if you are being serious and are only looking at the pictures and have not been to see it i think you may be judging it with no real proof to back it up with. you can see a car in the flesh and it looks poor but on a picture looks mint and vice versa. also that has just been completed by scoobybits and i am sure they would not do a poor job, there is a build thread on here some where

and trackcar i dont think was meant to be a full replica just a wide arch'd type r. if you read the add they have offered to fit them to the new owner if they want.

do agree with the main post that a white 22b does look the nuts, would love the real thing but at 20k its a little out of reach and i would like to fit my block and supporting mods or a 2.35 in one and i think that would ruin an orginal 22b so think i may end up re-shelling it all in a type r at the end of the year a si am not 100% sold on a 4dr 22b kit.

i didnt say that i thought it was poor build quality, i simply stated that it doesnt take much to bolt the 22b bumpers on, and if i was paying 11k for that i would have preferred the bumpers to come with the price,

if they are going to put them on at someone requests to do so then why didnt they just do it anyway. the car would get a lot more interest, would definatly fetch as near to the 11k price tag.:thumb:

It takes all of 5 mins to sort the metal sections under the rear lights out so they mate with the wider arches properly, and they never pulled the rear bumper out properly either?

The door shut lines need adjusted as the door sits to far in, and the front wing gaps are off.

Mine was not perfect, but i did a better job then that POS (10k wtf?)

StickyMicky 10 February 2010 04:53 PM

This is how it is done when the sections under the rear lights are modded/adjusted properly

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/10...s/DSCN1032.jpg

Notice how the rear bumper fits properly?
Plus the panel gaps are nice and tight

Like i said, mine was not perfect, i am the first to admit that, but i am not a bodyshop and i simply DIY`d mine while bored at work.

That "pro" job is cowboy as hell YEEEEEEHAAAAAA

wrx9181 10 February 2010 07:34 PM

scoobyclinic got them in stock mate and are in my opinion one of the best spray jobs you can get as a few mag features prove too

Just looked on Jase's website and it says the bodykit was trial fitted and then modified. I assume the pics are the trial fitting as I have nothing but praise for his work:D

But hey ho I didnt comment about that till he had a pop..when ya get ya car running Gaz i will see you at a track day.
I will fetch a trailer for u

dazdavies 10 February 2010 09:04 PM

Before you get all smart and righteous Jase:

I've based my opinions on the pictures you've posted of the car. They will be the same pictures that any potential buyer will see.

I've highlighted the areas that look bad.
http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/1.jpg

http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/2.jpg

http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/3.jpg

http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/4.jpg

From those pictures the kit looks like it fits poorly, the rear quarter passenger side looks dreadful.

It may just be the pictures but you cant deny the car doesnt look top notch from those pictures.

Now off your high horse there's a good lad :)

J@Scoobybits 10 February 2010 09:22 PM

I promise you it looks great pics are ****e!!!!!!!!!!...rI aint gotta horse prefer to drive fella
And if ya gunna slate my work without seeing it expect a bit ov northern reply, I however have seen your handy work
I have no idea what you see to highlight in the pictures it looks great in the flesh,
It only makes way for the next one now its sold, and the Murtaya can be rebult now for some track fun .
Keep smiling fella !

dazdavies 10 February 2010 09:36 PM

OK I'll put a description too lol

In this one the gap between bumper and wing looks bigger than it should be.
http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/1.jpg

Rear Quarter appears to be over hanging the bumper.
http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/2.jpg

Supports the first pic
http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/3.jpg

Wheel arch on lower rear quarter looks dented or poorly filled.
http://www.scoob.co.uk/typer/white22b/4.jpg

I was only making observations which you've clearly taken personally with your bitchy childish reply.

J@Scoobybits 10 February 2010 09:41 PM

I assure you it looks fine, I will admit the 2nd pic was before the bumper was fitted.
I apologise for taking offence to comments made by you to a car you have never seen.
IMHO it looks twice the car you own.
I will leave it there each to there own.
