Lovely looking car with lots of hidden extras. I should take ownership of it next week when the reg transfer has gone through. :thumb:

I am going to miss the AWD and the boot space and it will be nice to have a quieter car, plus petrol consumption will be better with the Honda. I wont miss cleaning white wheels though :thumb:

I didnt look at the wheels to be honest but he did say they had been refurbed if that helps. :p

They are the same size and profile as mine. I was hoping they would be 45's as that is what i used to have but they are 40's so very easy to damage.

my mrs has one of these.better than the new ones.just get the springs sorted as being that low will be all over the place on normal roads.and once you start using the vtec the fuels about the same as my scooby...

Was your classic a UK turbo, wrx or sti? You may miss the torque as well. The Honda is a good looking car though, nice. :thumb:

It was a lovely ride and stuck to the road like glue :thumb:

If i use the v-tech then i will use the fuel but otherwise it will be more econimical than mine.

Dan,my scoob is only a (limited Edition) sport btw :D

it is fine having them wound down nice and low but that upstes the handling.just needs coming up a fraction.have coilovers on the mrs and spent days winding them up and down to get it right for our crappy roads.

Ah well in that case, yer gonna love the extra torque. :freak3::D

I think they are about half way atm. :p

I thought VTec engines weren't about torque.

The VTec has around 150 lbs torque I think. What does the Impreza sport have?

It sounded a bit derogatory and having avoided Vtec i wouldn't really know what I'm on about. All that ragging the engine to get it to work doesn't sound like my COT.

The wife however wants an Accord Type R so we may yet have VTec kicking in sometime soon :)

had a ctr before the scoob....cracking little car, revs to buggery and deffo the best shape to get...:thumb:

Blame the rock hard suspension, blame the electric steering that locks up at slow speed in car parks, blame the lack of torque that sees you in the wrong gear and overtaken by diesels day in and day out, blame the look of utter disdain from the other driver when you have to rev it at 6k behind a saab convertible just to be in the right zone to overtake :lol1:

They are better on the track
