just need info guys.

dabow 20 January 2010 09:09 PM

anyone.

johngoulding 20 January 2010 11:24 PM

do a search on google images or look up flat4online.co.uk and check there m8

dabow 22 January 2010 10:32 AM

i did, but can not find anything on there.

all i can find, is that subaru did start using denso as standard
but like with the newage injectors, theres no info about these 500cc blue sidefeed ones

saying that, theres not much about any of the injectors.

WhiteWagonMan 22 January 2010 03:38 PM

you on about these by any chance matey SUBARU EJ20 Impreza WRX STI GC8 500cc Fuel Injector on eBay (end time 21-Jan-10 11:41:02 GMT) i was tempted myself but thought they were just to close to the 440`s in cc and opted for a decnt FPR instead.

dabow 22 January 2010 09:44 PM

yes them ones mate.
looked into it, they did make 500cc for the sti's and were denso

but finding anything else out, if there good or do flow the 500cc.
theres nothing i can find out about them.

as long as i get the ones in the pic, then i'll be happy

WhiteWagonMan 23 January 2010 05:27 PM

Well the seller has very good feedback but its still a bit risky, and ideally you want 550`s mate,if you do go for them i would get them flow tested before fitting in the car just to be safe, would be interested to know if they are ok if you get some,so report back and let us know if you do mate.

dabow 23 January 2010 05:40 PM

i will mate, i did have a set of 550cc injectors

had to sell them, needed the cash for some thing.
but 500cc will/should give 350 with no issues at all.
but wont be as maxed as the 440cc ones i have

all i know so far, is denso have been making injectors for years.
and there as new, so should be good

after all, all the newage scoobs have denso injectors, infact, the 500cc ones are still blue. but top feed.

never read of them packing up

WhiteWagonMan 23 January 2010 07:48 PM

:eek:ooooooh..should have kept those 550`s pal, there worth there weight for a classic these days. But i`ve been there too so i no what you mean when you say you had to sell em,anyways good luck and do let us know if they do the job,STILL TEMPTED MYSELF even with the fuel reg.;)

i did get a fuel reg, but told the one i had was rubbish.
for a proper one, advised by mappers. there 200+

so if used with the 440cc ones, should flow 465ish say, so the 500cc ones should flow more

+ with a fuel reg, you have to mess about with it to get it set up
injectors you drop in, get a normal map. & alls done.

i'll post up what there like. there suposed to be proper sti ones
nothing bad i can find about them, you know 'dont get these ect
so took the chance.

anyways, watch this space

defo watching this space,im very interseted to find out as these injectors plus a afpr will be ideal for me! 100-200 quid for a fpr plus normal 550s at 370 quid is crazy in my eyes,so hopefully this will be a genuine happy medium mod at a slightly more affordable price.i wish u good luck with them mate and my fingers are crossed for u.im watching this space...........:thumb:

WhiteWagonMan 23 January 2010 09:03 PM

My thoughts exactly:lol:

johngoulding 23 January 2010 10:01 PM

why they were removed from a new engine as it states on the add is weird , would put them down to being sht jawarehouse is the seller ??? sounds like cheap sht but they may just do the job although u may find they squirt fuel like a champagne bottle lmao

well it does make u wonder why they are £200 cheaper than anywhere else???:confused:but u never know, they might be good?:wonder:
why are ph2 550 so bloody expensive?its crazy!

johngoulding 23 January 2010 10:28 PM

i have to admit to part with the price they are asking is still alot of money and if it all goes t**s up u may have to pay for the £370 ones after, thats one expensive set of injectors.i just wouldnt be able to risk it??would u? i want the real deals for £150:lol1:but if they are good then im sure they will be selling many sets, very interested to find out wether they are good or not.i still cant get my head over the fact that the proper ones are soooo expensive, they are tiny:cuckoo:! why so expensive?there must be alot of people making a s**t load of money and rubbing there hands together!

johngoulding 23 January 2010 10:47 PM

bet lateral etc get a hardon when sum1 walks through the door lol its funny that u think they may have pound signs in there eyes with a big cheesy grin and they say '' can i help you ? '' i feel like sayin '' yes , lower ur prices mate '' lol

:lol1:i do understand that tuning cars does cost, but some stuff just takes the p**s:eek:there has to be a cheaper option for a decent set of 500/550 injectors for 99/00 cars(direct fit)and im hoping this is it.:Suspiciou

sham lol its like a fake bank note only the dafties would think theyre genuine buy cheap buy twice

dabow 23 January 2010 11:21 PM

i know im taking a chance in one way
but japan do sell part alot cheaper than over here.
after so many years, its cheaper to brake a car
they then sell these parts on.

the thing is, denso are proper injectors for the model stated. and the pic shows the right phase 2 with multi point spray. i dont think they came from a new engine, as there from a 98/00 sti.

if you compair these with the jecs 440cc, there the same.
besides, its alot of the tuners that say dont get the cheaper jap stuff. get owes
the tuners get all there stuff imported from places like them. whole salers from japan

we'll see anyways. as soon as i get them, i'll let you guys know ye
took a chance on a number of things, all my silicon hoses, paid quarter than i would have paid over here. & got free delivery to

i was paying 3/5 quid per hose, when over here. the same size was 20?
been on the car for 2 years, and still seem perfect, i was warned on here then too

i'll post what i find guys

99greenwagon 23 January 2010 11:22 PM

not sure what dabow will make of this.

99greenwagon 23 January 2010 11:24 PM

do u not think u will need some sort of adapter for them?

dabow 23 January 2010 11:34 PM

yes, you need a phase fitting kit.

just checked out lateral performance site out. the injectors for them models are the same as the blue ones. but at alot higher price.

Lateral Performance Ltd| Home | Fuel System Subaru Impreza | Injectors | '99-'00 Phase Two Side Feed Injectors | Nismo 555cc Phase Two side feed Injector Kit Subaru Impreza V5-6/ '99-'00

the p1 injector are what i have in my car at the min too.

99greenwagon 23 January 2010 11:40 PM

is your car my99?

dabow 23 January 2010 11:52 PM

no, its a uk95

already rebuilt the engine about 2 years ago.
but after having low torque till 3k, thanks to the help of jgm.
i found i needed sti v3/4 heads.

when i did my engine, i wanted it stronger. so put sti v4 pistons in.
again, i did have a set of 550cc injectors, but sold them as i needed funds.
i wanted an uprated fuel reg, but for the price, checked injectors out

came across them blue ones.
i dont think these were in owe sti cars, but could have been in japans or american models. this i can not find out.

all i do know, denso did put there injectors in subarus as standard
i'll find out where does flow checking ect, before fitting

the injectors i got at the min, are phase 2 from a p1, there basicly an sti v5 anyways
you just put a phase kit to change from a phase 2, to a phase 1/1.5
phase 2 are better too

the ones i firstly pictured(power enterprise ones) look like they would fit straight into my99 without anything else needed,am i correct in thinking this?

dabow 24 January 2010 12:12 AM

yes mate, thay just look different, 1) they have a slightly longer nose, & 2) they have the part built in to the top for fixing.

the injector its self (the body) is the same.
just checked another site out:

AndyForrestPerformance

the injectors he pictures are the same as them blue ones too.
just red, i know there proper, but theres nothing to say which country had theblue 500cc ones.

i know uk dident, use maybe?
only time will tell
