Induction pipe-fitting

Hi,

i have a ver.6, turbo 2000, (GT in EU) MY 00 classik. Recently I bought Samco induction pipe like this
http://www.samcosport.com/uk/prod/ca...ges/TB1218.jpg

Today i looked inder my hood and it seems that it wont fit, due to power steering. In the angle, where power steering container is, pipe is to thick...
It seems that pipe like this should fit

And now im wondering if somebody has samco like pipe fited to ver.6 GC8 and could show me picture of it? Is it possbile to to fit samco to my engine?
Cheers
Peter

Your Samco one should fit - although it will be crushed slightly by the PAS tank. The optimal solution is to remote mount the fluid reservoir, which is easy to do with a few parts from a newage car and an adapter for the pump you can order via a Subaru dealer.

If anything I would say that the second pipe you have shown won't fit, as the dumpvalve recirc port and the head oil breather port look too close together. You would almost certainly find that the breather entry would foul on the fuel rail

great news about this remote cointainer. Especially that intake diameter will increase. :luxhello:

I will have to ask my tuner for this action :)

Did anybody do already remote container?

I already talked with my garage 4turbo.pl and they say its no problem to relocate PS container.
I have to gather parts.
