thanx

pointless exercise unless you're going for 600 bhp plus

Have to agree mate,

your 2.5 can handle 500bhp with the right internals fitted plus supporting mods.

Obviously if you are wanting 600bhp there will be alot of work involved. Daz is doing a big build with a CDB so have a look on his project.

If your wanting 500bhp have a look at my link which has all the bits I need for a 500bhp capable long block.

Actually I'm going for 600 bhp with a strengthened EJ257 :D

Stock liners!!

bloody hell, I didn't know you could do that, nice one!

I take it you had to have the 14mm head stud conversion too?

the main reason i am going for the cdb is for tax purpuses, the laws have changed here in greece and i will have to pay crazy amounts of income tax if i am to keep the 2.5lt . however if i go 2lt and do a stroker kit upto say 2.2 , on paper it is still a 2000cc. and i do have plans for a 550bhp build.

Yep 14 mm stud conversion, Cosworth pistons, Cosworth Rods and some block strenghtening but the liners are remaining untouched!!
