Just been trying to get MAME to run with my WinXP, with no luck so far! -DV |
Isnt that because MAME is DOS based and XP errrrrrrmmmmmmm isnt! :D
|
There is a Win32 version of MAME too :)
Works fine in XP. |
Yeah, MAME has been ported to every platform imaginable, including Win32, but I was still getting problems.
DJDunk sorted that now! Anyone know any good websites for ROMS ? www.mame.dk was the definitive one but they've been forced to remove all their roms now. |
http://www.aceroms.com is a good one :)

If any of you emulation nutters have an Apple Mac then check out this site. very cool.
Did have a copy of MacMAME on my machine, think it got trashed though :( Bloody good fun though. |
There are about 8 mame enthusiasts in the uk offering a free burning service for all 3000 mame roms (thats 1800 games).
All you do is provide 7 blank cdrs. Highly recommended. http://www.tombstones.org.uk/cgi-bin/burners.cgi?area=uk |
http://www.edgeemu.com/ great site for roms and emulators.
