Hi any chips left
Neil

Major_Sarcasm 16 September 2010 02:54 PM

Hi Neil, yes, got chips at the moment. PM me with some car details if you'd like one and I'll tell you how to go about it. Have a quick read of the FAQ in my sig if you haven't already :)

GC8 18 September 2010 07:41 PM

If I changed from a TD04 to a TD05, would you re-flash to suit, for me?

Simon

Major_Sarcasm 19 September 2010 03:13 PM

Yes, Simon, if you bought a TD04 map and then changed the turbo to a TD05, we'd re-flash for free. If you changed your turbo every other week, we might reconsider though ;)

jeffwrx 19 September 2010 03:22 PM

Hi , i already have a 27C1028 Fujitsu chip, would it be possible to reflash it with one of your maps? , if so how much would you charge, thanks

Major_Sarcasm 19 September 2010 03:34 PM

You have a PM fella.

Hi from Romania,

Thanks,

Alex

jeffwrx 04 October 2010 10:13 PM

Received my ecu back last week , quick turnaround, and runs alot better , and works well with my mods , well worth the money , cheers

drischnie 04 October 2010 11:40 PM

hello again from germany :-)

all three scoobys runs great! :luxhello:

only one thing all three have: in 1st gear when you put the pedal fully down, the car stocks extrem, like a fuelcut, at around 3500 - 4000 revs.
2nd to 5th gear no problems.

what do you think? coils or spark plugs ore something?

Hi Enrico

My guess would be coilpacks, but this is a new one for me, being only in 1st gear! Wrap electrician's tape around all four coilpacks just in case there are any hairline cracks in the casing where it sits on the spark plugs. Also check spark plug gaps/condition.

Let me know your findings please :)

drischnie 10 October 2010 01:24 AM

@Major

So had tested again, its in every gear around 4000 u/min.
Had replaced the spark plugs (NGK PFR6G) and one coil pack cause it has a crack.
But the problem is still there :-(

Major_Sarcasm 10 October 2010 08:19 AM

All three cars?!

drischnie 10 October 2010 11:20 AM

no, only the STi V2 and the WRX. the RA runs fine.
It isnt a Problem with the Chip on these two cars, that is great,
it has to be coil packs or something????

peter.p&j 10 October 2010 07:30 PM

hi steve well after much looking about for someone to solder the adaptor onto my circuit board i have the chip installed
i didnt notice any real change at first the ecu has to learn the new chip but after 2 days of driving the car is really responsive in all gears very smooth to drive will be eager to see if there is any change in fuel consumption(for the better i hope )
was nervous to try any brain surgery on the scoob but i believe it has been a good investment car feels more alive

If it's fuel cut you're getting, rather than a misfire, then it could be a touch of overboost. I would suggest giving both cars' boost solenoids a really good clean with brake & clutch cleaner or similar. We've been getting a little more of this lately as these cars aren't getting any younger!

Good news, Peter :)

I have a 27C1028 Fujitsu chip, would it be possible to flash it with one of your maps?, if so how much would you charge? And would it fit into my V9 ECU instead of the Zero Sports chip that is in there already?

Its for a 94 WRX wagon with a TD04.

Yes, no problem to re-flash a chip that you have already, saves you £20 if you supply your own chip.

If the Zero Sports chip is fitted into a socket, then it's a straight swap.

PM me if you'd like to go ahead bud.

ozzyzero 16 October 2010 11:20 AM

Sorry for delays in responding to PMs, guys. I've had some family issues to deal with and have been very busy.
