What is the voltage range expected to be on the Throttle Postion Switch i.e when closed and when open etc...etc...

I think you may have those figures the wrong way around John.

I get:

0.4v (fully closed throttle)

4.3v (wide open)

on MY98.

I concur with James.

Sorry, yes I did. Tired. Apologies. Will edit.

How did you test this and between which pins as there are 4 to choose from.

I pick it up at the ECU as an input for my boost controller, referenced to vehicle ground. Don't know about the actual connector. Try the link manual and some of the ravensblade wiring diagrams floating about, although it could be different on your model year.

0.5 closed 4.3 open. Each +- 0.3V on MY99/00.

Edited because I was a muppet and got them the wrong way around.

TPS (on MY97 at least) should give 4.2 - 4.5V with throttle fully opened.

That would make it 4.35V +/- 0.20V then. ;)

Oh, and in case you are interested, if you adjust the TPS mounting, the tightening torque you want is 2.2 +/- 0.2N.m (1.6 +/- 0.1 ft-lb)
