04 wrx intercooler into classic
 

Done a search and didn't come up with much. Anyone know whats needed to make an 04 wrx intercooler fit into a uk classic?? Bought a mint one off ebay for £68 inc postage, came with original dump valve and y pipe. Any help would be appreciated.:wonder:

Ah ha. Just about to do this my self after much arsing about.

You'll need the hose from the DV to the induction pipe, you'll need to swap the Y Pipe and get a bridging plate. You will have to cut the current under tray and fit a bigger rubber shroud (I should have some left). If you are going to the meet I hope to have mine done by then.

I have done a few dry runs and it's fecking easy.

it's realy easy took about an hour, i used the original brackets, just need bending into shape.

Thanks guys, hopefully get it done soon. May have to have the dump valve altered and use the one thats on car, the coil pack is in middle of inlet and I think its the idle control control valve could be in the way.

The Classic DV does not fit on a Newage Intercooler. The pipe you need is £5 from Grade A Subaru for next day delivery.

I have the coil packs in the middle of my Intake but all is OK. Keep an eye out for my "How to fit a WRX IC to a Classic". It won't be long!
