You can do that some parts of Australia, called a roadie.
My uncle and I went to the drive through offie and he says "you want a roadie?", I'm thinking some kind of bar snack so "yep, sure" and he gets a couple of cold cans and cracks them  Supped them on the way home but wasn't really comfortable with the whole thing. Happened on a minibus on the way back from a balloon trip as well and the bloke driving got stuck into the champagne meant for the punters. |
Bottle of Evian with Grey Goose in does the trick ;)
|
Sensibly of course he'd be on the Heineken
|
I don't think it is against the law to drink a beer and drive, apart from the without due care type bollox.
As long as you are below .08, surely it would be no different from drinking a cup of tea. Anyone on here know better? |
Ordering "road beers" for travel between US bars, very common.
Don't think it's legal though. |
yeah, don't think theres any law against as long as your under the limit, not clever tho:freak3:
A mate of mine on the trucks use to use a Grolsh bottle to put his pop in (orange, blackcurrent etc) used to get some funny looks from passing drivers, again, not very clever:freak3::thumb: |
Drew up level at the lights today next to a guy in a Transit with his elbows on the steering wheel and a lighter in his hand burning his gear ready to roll. :cuckoo:

:p Not quite. :p I'd just need to pee alot, for no benefit. ;) |
In many States in the US is it illegal to have an open container of alcohol anywhere in your car - even your trunk.

There is no law apart from the aforementioned driving without due care and attention. You are just screaming 'please pull me over and do a cavity search' to any random Policeman though.
