Not 100% essential, but will aid even further gains.

What you must do is get the car re-mapped once these are fitted, they dramatically alter the way the car breathes. A re-map will also ensure you get the most out of your mods.

I plan to get a remap very soon, just want to get all the other bits out the way first,so far ive added a green group n panel filter and 3.5" s/s jap spec exhaust system with decat :D

Thankyou sir, and agree, if your budget allows then ceramic coating is far far far superior to any wrap :)

TomR555 10 May 2009 11:03 PM

Have run out of cash now

TomR555 22 May 2009 01:33 PM

off to buy some wrap :)

V4JDMSTi 22 May 2009 01:56 PM

Good luck. :lol1: Took me 2 days to wrap mine. Wear some mechanics gloves and when they're done spray them with some high temp paint. Found out after I had fitted mine that this helps to prolong the life of the wrap.

e6tony 22 May 2009 01:59 PM

tom if u get 1100degrees wrap its as soft as cotton wool and u wont need the gloves

V4JDMSTi 22 May 2009 02:01 PM

that's what i got. next time i wrap anything with it i'm wearing my overalls as well! :lol1: goes a bit fluffy and made my hands itch. :lol1:

e6tony 22 May 2009 02:05 PM

nah matt didnt make me itch but yes very dusty lol !!!

TomR555 22 May 2009 02:08 PM

V4JDMSTi 22 May 2009 02:10 PM

Did you want if for the weekend? Pretty sure i still have an unopened roll at home in the shed. Only thing i haven't got is the wire thay they give you with it to tie it onto the headers. Which i dare say you can get from b&q etc.

TomR555 22 May 2009 02:12 PM

I did mate yeah, was gona wrap them tomoz,if you have a roll would be very handy :thumb:

V4JDMSTi 22 May 2009 02:17 PM

pm me your number and I'll give you a shout when I get in to let you know if I def got it. I know I've got 2 part rolls left over (which Dad's got his eye on for his downpipe), but pretty sure I bought 3 rolls for some reason :lol1:

TomR555 22 May 2009 02:19 PM
