im after the set of 4 sti v2 cams

must be sti v2.
must be good con

(R3IN-R3EX-L3IN-L3EX) with a line a round the cam running through the first letter

these are the codes of them

pitty its not an sti v2.
i need the sti v2 ones, as i know they will fit my uk heads with no probs

the cams i have in there. have the same numbers as aboth, but with out the line running round the cam & through the letter

went to see if mine were around, am told they should be in the garage somewhere, they should turn up next week, soon as i hear owt i'll let you know!!!

dunno about the numbers at the mo, but they are definately sti2 as they were mine until i swapped to teg sport..............

the sti v2 had 2 differnt codes any way. either 2 or 3
but the came lines are only on the sti's

hi mate, i have a set of heads complete with cams of ( 95 sti ra) i will check later today about the lines,, im in N,IRELAND but could post if they are what your looking, cheers

hi mate, the ra, is completly different.
the 5th injector ect.

i may have to change the pistons too. as the valves are high lift due to the cams
i'll have another check regards the ra heads

the sti are the same but different profile

i'm just trying to get the set of cams, as this way. i wont need to take the engine to bits again

if i have to buy the heads too, then i might as well as get the sti v3 heads/cams

only the sti v2 cams should be compatable with the valves, mixed with the pistons i have on my car

any other cam, i need the heads. unless there uprated wrx ones.
theres not many places, persons know about these cam set ups

the uk cams in my car: r3in/r3ex l3in/l3ex
with the line running out the middle of these digits

need more info, but the sti ones have lines running round the cam in different places
to meet the other letters

the sti v2 ra has the line in the middle & the first letter. with the same code as aboth
but the cams lift higher, so would be no good for my uk heads

so, the sti v2 cams, should have the lines one in the middle, and around each end letter (maybe)

but was also told, the earlyer cames were numbered as 2, & not 3.
there needs to be a chart of what cams are in what car.
this would make life alot easyer
