rickya 10 April 2009 08:09 PM

Sorry to hear mate :( IIRC you only had the car built last week by ScoobyClinic?

Try pm'ing Fiestaboy on here he's a mechanic & posts here.
Also there is Hughberry Vehicle Services near Moor Park/Ickenham

P-1prodrive 10 April 2009 08:14 PM

Thats very unusual as Alan usually returns all calls within a few hours, drop him or Martyn a PM :thumb:

What did you need doing to your car?

sorry m8, i dont chase people for somewhere to put my money
i explained what i was after and was told i would be contacted
i own a carpentry firm and if i say i will call back i do
no second chances in my game
and i expect the same in return

maybe this is why rcm charge what they do?

Very true so far all of my messages and calls have been returned thats why they have my business :) The guys over at RCM are also in my good books they even sent me a DVD of the gobstopper with my last order :D But then again nothing comes cheap whilst dealing with RCM

Budgie 10 April 2009 08:52 PM

maybe its just me m8
do they think i am a time waster
or maybe not good for the money
i dont know for sure but if one of them can get back to me
with a plan of action and a price and time scale
we may be able to make some headway
my car needs a purpose in life or i may as well sell it
maybe Ash is right about a bmw
did have a look at a maserati today though;)

P-1prodrive 10 April 2009 09:04 PM

not a good start when a company doesnt follow up an enquiry.im a mechanic by trade n would love to do the rebuild myself.prob is facilitys to strip my engine down, lovely boss is saying he doesnt want it taking up any space!!,cheers boss.

R4LLY 10 April 2009 09:15 PM

I would go to Engine Tuner or Zen.

Tried loads of tuners and ended up throwing ALOT of ££ down the drain.

Engine tuner have given a top service so far, and gone the extra mile to help out when needed.

Martyn is sometimes very busy so it's understandable if one or two queries slip through the net. Alan is normally on top form with queries etc...

Last time we were there, they had around 5 Subaru's to do big power builds on, a Noble, a BIG power GTR, Evo's, Kit car's, etc... There was ALOT of quality work being done by them and their prices are reasonable. Give em a call.

chased him via e mail 2 weeks later
2 weeks later still and not heard a word

if it doesnt happen this year it may have to go:brickwall

That would be a real shame.

Give one of em a call again and I'm sure someone will be able to help you out.

What's left to do on it now?...

No doubt they'll sort you out a good deal.

Their 2.1 builds are excellent VFM as well! K18LLR will have his on the road soon so will be able to showcase their work.
