I am still not sure if i should get a h or a t. I will not be looking at passing 400bhp and still want to use my ppp exhaust setup so i might not ever get close to 400bhp but i need someone to push me in the right direction.

My Bugeye made 400bhp using a 321H with PPP sports cat. The 321H is looking lonely sitting in my garage if someone wants to make me an offer :)

fastboyslim 19 August 2010 09:10 PM

Hell yeah!!! How much are you looking for it, how old is it??

joz8968 19 August 2010 09:22 PM

If fbs doesn't have it, I could be open to dialogue re that 321H too......... ;

StuS 19 August 2010 09:23 PM

Fitted to the car in 2008 and removed some time last year, covering less than 10k miles. I need to look around to see how much it's worth (I need money to fund more mods! :D)

If you are interested, I'm not far from you - Watford/Hemel area.

fastboyslim 19 August 2010 10:04 PM

Woohoo!!! Let us know what you are looking for it, either here or pm me.

StuS 20 August 2010 11:30 AM

Can't send you PM - have you got it disabled? :p

Looking for £850 and will throw in the intake pipe too. I've also got the headers that made part of my 400bhp setup if you're interested :D

Very fair price indeed.

Agreed, especially as a decent intake pipe is £200+

This has recently been replaced by the MD555 range and the 400hp rated version should be very similar.
We used 4 of the 195s turbos on Newage cars, all of them made 420+bhp on pump fuel and 2 of them have gone on to make 450+ on a 10% meth mix.

What would be needed to get about 400 bhp from the smaller 555 turbo on a newage wrx ? i already have uprated fuel pump pink injectors sti intercooler, full decat, ngk 7 plugs.

Would i need bigger injectors? or could i get away with a fuel preasure reg ?

fastboyslim 20 August 2010 11:20 PM

Stus, that is one hell of an offer but i must decline. I just remembered i am going to the 'ring end of this month.............Ahhhhhhh.

stevebt 20 August 2010 11:34 PM

Get the T then your covered if it isn't fast enough at 400bhp.

StuS 21 August 2010 10:04 AM

Buy my old s206 then you're covered if it isn't fast enough at 450bhp

joz8968 21 August 2010 01:07 PM

lol

Just to update the thread. I'm now running a 321T on my 03 STi on standard internals.

Makes 425Bhp @ 1.4Bar on a very safe map. With 1Bar arriving @ less than 3000Rpm (Thanks in no small part to Harveys up pipe)

Full spec is.
MD321T
Perrin equal length headers
Harvey up pipe
Parallel Fuel rails with Sard 800cc Injectors
APS 70mm CAI with AEM dry flow filter sitting on a custom silicone house so that it sits a lot lower and closer to the cold air feed through the foglight cover (Thanks Frayz)
3" Fully decatted Hayward & Scott
Inlet manifold spacers
Dump valve delete
Samco 76mm Turbo inlet pipe.

I've got a Perrin FMIC to go on in the near future so that'll take care of my inlet temps.

Makes for a very quick road car. Pulls very all the way from 3000Rpm all the way to the redline. I'd highly recomended a 321T to anyone with a 2.0 litre lump if you've got AVCS heads and a Harvey up pipe. It's LESS laggy than the VF35 was on Ported OEM Headers and standard up pipe was :)

B0DSKI 16 October 2010 08:42 AM

Oh and a BIG thank you to Zak @ Mocom Racing for all his hard work on the car.

Terminator X 16 October 2010 06:51 PM

Nice to see it back on the road ;)

TX.

Very nice result - that 1bar @ 3000rpm - on the road or dyno ? Gear ?

Road, 5th gear if I remember correctly what Zak said. Think it was officially 2800Rpm
