FRONT INTERCOOLER
what would i gain from puting a front intercooler on my00 classic
you still running the td04 turbo?
ye hopefully geting a vf 28 turbo and remapp soon tho
Not a lot. Only needed when running bigger power than you'll be with the turbo/map.
so once ive done the turbo and the remap then consider it.
Yeah, see what sort of power your running then, if you want more you'll need another map when you start fitting bigger injectors etc anyway. It's a lot of hastle fitting one if not required.
ok cheers for your help mit
tbh thats not very good advice, to get the best out of it it and make sure it runs safe it will need mapping, if your chucking a vf28 at it then def yes get a front mount fitted and the turbo.
i'm guessing its a uk turbo, so best bet would be full decat, front mount, turbo, fuel pump, induction kit and then a map. the 440 injectors will be fine at that power, wont need a FPR so should be fairly simple swap and map. also the standard my00 ecu is mapable |
Why induction kit? The standard box is proven to be as good, if not better.
The op said vf28 and map, why add £300+ for a fmic at this level?(280bhp ish) |
ive got the decat and am guna get a walbero 255 fuel pump or something like thatbut like wit said whats the point in the front intercooler if i dont need one.
